Heidi James is the author of the novella The Mesmerist's Daughter published in Two Tall Tales and One Short Novel (Apis Books) and forthcoming debut Carbon (Wrecking Ball Press, 2008). She is a recipient of the Sophie Warne fellowship, proprietor of Social Disease Books and a regular performer of her work.
